Best nature alarm clock sounds9/25/2023 So the “sun is up” before the alarm (which I have set to my favorite morning radio show, Preston and Steve). I have mine set to start the “sunrise” 30 minutes before my first alarm. This thing has saved my life many many times. I saw some similar models for $40 that are Alexa compatible, and I’m reading in between the lines that they’re nothing compared to the Philips. What customers say: You know, I still love this thing. (There are more than 20 brightness settings-the sun can’t even.) It comes with FM radio stations as well as nature sounds and even offers a sundown setting for when you’re trying to relax. Over the course of 30 minutes, it changes from red to orange to, finally, a soft yellow that you can customize to your preferences. Key selling points: Wish you could wake up like Cinderella, minus the chores? This sunrise alarm clock can make it happen. Unfortunately, it’s up to you whether or not you hit the snooze button…. Whether you like to listen to FM radio in the mornings, can’t zonk out without white noise or a five-minute sleep meditation, or are such a deep sleeper that it low-key freaks out your partner, our lineup of the best alarm clocks is here to make your wakeup call a little less painful. all-hands meeting, as well as another you can stash in your bag for travel. There’s something literally called a bed shaker to ensure you don’t miss that 9 a.m. Okay, sounds nice-but we know that that won’t cut it for heavy sleepers, which is why you won't find just sunlight simulators and old-school clock radios here. Rather than using a series of rude beeps or preset chimes to rouse you-which can all too often lead to a Twitter doomscrolling session as soon as your blink your eyes open-these devices offer a good way to both break up with your phone, even if just for the night, and gently start your morning. That’s where the best alarm clocks come in. Phones have their perks, but between pings from your group chat and all the opinions on the feed, they’re not great for your sleep.

Kal online private server9/25/2023 You should try to follow the "questlines" even tho it's hard to find the correct/current quests everytime. If you still want to give it a try, than dont bother to instantly waste your money on ingame cash items. I guess the most interesting part in this game was and is the castle siege. But I highly recommend everyone to try something else in 2016. It is outdated, poorly ran and slowly dying. I would recommend you DO NOT spend any money on this game if you decide to play, but I would recommend you DO NOT play this game. They do not really care about the community or game progress just the money they earn. Because those are LONG gone, every month Inixsoft puts out another box of some sort to suck up more money from its user base. To sum it all up, if I was you look past the nostalgic times of this game. Another is "There's a problem of information of character" and this means you have to send in messages to the GM's to fix it (Good luck with this because their english is horrid) There is two famous bugs that they still have not fixed to this day, UI bug where it basically crashes your game after a set amount of time using any UI in game. It is pathetic, at least hire a english speaker to run your C/S center. There is also a bug that putting on a flag after revive or rebirth can get you perma blocked, so never do that.Īfter almost what like 12 years, Inixsoft STILL can barely speak english. MAKE A DARK SHADOW now so you can keep up with leveling. Now that 3rd job is out, it is all about AFK play now and you need set people for each party to "work"Īrchers get the shaft. And the server has been on a decline ever since. Half of the server quit around this time because of the stupidity in the Inixsoft studios. And they said multiple times in server updates that it was fixed, when it was not wasting peoples time and rebirths. It took them 1.5 months to "fix" a boss in game that allowed 3rd job change to even happen. Inixsoft is one of the worst gaming companies I have ever known by far too. Most of the server is German/Dutch/Polish with like under 15 from the US/Canada. I would say maybe 100 people actively play this steam version and the community is very toxic. Of the lets say 400 people online at 1 time, at LEAST 300 of those are afk/shop/miners. The steam server is dead and or dying, you can google the steam charts of this game and see the loss in people month by month. So first off, there is only a couple ways you can be "good" or have good stuff on this game.ġ) Buy Jewels from Inixsoft and sell those in game - Pay2WinĢ) Bot or cheat in some way to earn geons - Cool storyģ) Exploit some mechanic in the game, mining for instance - (This is not good anymore because barely anyone plays and the ones that do have their crafted weapons already)Ĥ) Team up with others and do boss kills or hunt drops, SLOW and luck based process - ONLY legit way to do it nowadays since the server is so dead This is going to be a long post maybe but I want people to know what they are getting themselves into by trying/playing this game. This is a review from a level 80 GoS, one of the highest before quitting named Prolin3. Learn what it’s like to join a team making technology advancements that are bigger, and tinier, than the world has ever seen.I am going to review the STEAM version of this game, unlike many reviews that are talking about Hanin or Nareaha servers. Voice actors of shadow warrior ps49/25/2023 These paths then end up in typically circular battle arenas, where enemies spawn in waves and progress is achieved by vanquishing them all. Essentially, a level is an A to B path where you engage in first person platforming with very light combat in a corridor style where you have very distinct paths that you can traverse through very quickly. Perhaps this is to make it work better on a controller with less inputs, but at the same time, these changes also work hand-in-hand with the game's entirely different combat beat, which seems now heavily inspired by the recent Doom games. Shadow Warrior 3 switches things up still further: shooting and swordplay are radically simplified (two attacks and no parry), with fewer weapons but more focus on those weapons. Alex Battaglia's technical review of Shadow Warrior 3, as tested on PC, PS4 Pro and the back-compat plus PS5 rendition. Shadow Warrior 2 may have looked gorgeous, but the base gameplay was marred by turning most of the objectives into something you might find in Borderlands. Shadow Warrior 2 was a different beast: the base shooting and swordplay improved and the Road Hog engine delivered impressive visuals, but level design and engagement in most of the game took a step back in quality, owing to levels built around tile-based randomisation, Diablo-style. The changes to gameplay are worth focusing on to begin with: Shadow Warrior's 2013 reboot was a fast-paced classic FPS, filled with health drops and secret locations - but with a surprisingly well crafted story and characters you could really care about. Meanwhile, the lack of native current-gen versions of the game is a genuine disappointment - owners of new consoles essentially get accelerated versions of the last-gen game, missing key visual features. The impressive Road Hog engine takes a backseat this time to Unreal Engine 4 - a controversial decision that doesn't quite pay off. Protagonist Lo Wang's voice is different, the gameplay itself has evolved and crucially - from a Digital Foundry perspective, at least - the engine technology powering the experience has moved on. Nine years on from Flying Wild Hog Studios' first reboot of the Shadow Warrior franchise, it's all change with the third series entry. Anno 1800 trailer9/25/2023 I'd actually like to experience the more dated ones first But on that note another strong feature of the game is how flexible the difficulty settings are. Personally, I found the series to really scratch an itch for a hybrid of a city builder and an sort of automation/management game. 22 also allow you to relocate buildings (with settings for whether or not it incurs a cost) - 14 don't have this if I recall, so reworking your layouts later on can sometimes be a bit of a headache.ġ404 is the only game of the series I haven't really played, but between 2070/2205/1800 they all kind interesting little things that make them unique or different enough. They're not -that- dated, you just get less info to work with, so figuring out optimal ratios and meeting the needs of your population can take a bit more guesswork or require referencing guides. If you want to start with the more dated ones, then 1404 or 2070 aren't bad. Like a criticism of 1800 might be that particularly with all the DLC, it gets a lot more complicated and possibly more unbalanced. But obviously, with the DLC, it does end up being much more pricy then the others. It's gonna be super subjective, but it definitely feels like if you're going to get/play one, cost aside, it's the one to get Also, with the DLC, it probably just has the most content. So it's (1800) the best entry to the anno world? IMO 2205 is still a lot of fun, the lack of multiplayer and AI were just obvious omissions that reduced replayability Thank you for your comment too! It's really helpful! So it's the best entry to the anno world? I'd actually like to experience the more dated ones first, just so I can appreciate the design and game mechanic revelations of the later ones better! 2005 seems to be what I was fearing, the later games in the series becoming more simplistic and dropping elements.ġ800 is basically the best of both worlds. 2205 added a lot of cool stuff like multiple parallel sessions, but then dropped the multiplayer/AI aspect and doesn't really have random maps and replayability. Like 14 are fine, but will probably feel a little dated, and can be a bit harder to get into. I've been looking to get into a lot of old school strategy and rpg games recently (such ad the might and magic series) and one issue I ran into was the lack of in game explaintation and QoL elements, so it's nice to see this game has those. It has a lot of good QoL and interface improvement stuff over previous games - it makes it a lot easier to understand how to set stuff up and helps to manage your stuff as you get deeper in the game.
Statistics z score calculator9/25/2023 Look up the critical value that corresponds with the alpha value. You will most likely use a two-tailed interval unless you are doing a one-tailed t test.įor a two-tailed interval, divide your alpha by two to get the alpha value for the upper and lower tails. Decide if you need a one-tailed interval or a two-tailed interval. It’s best to look at the research papers published in your field to decide which alpha value to use. The most common alpha value is p = 0.05, but 0.1, 0.01, and even 0.001 are sometimes used. The alpha value is the probability threshold for statistical significance. There are three steps to find the critical value. Finding the critical valueĬritical values tell you how many standard deviations away from the mean you need to go in order to reach the desired confidence level for your confidence interval. Example: Point estimateIn the TV-watching example, the point estimate is the mean number of hours watched: 35. The point estimate of your confidence interval will be whatever statistical estimate you are making (e.g., population mean, the difference between population means, proportions, variation among groups). Once you know each of these components, you can calculate the confidence interval for your estimate by plugging them into the confidence interval formula that corresponds to your data. The critical values for the test statistic. The point estimate you are constructing the confidence interval for.If you want to calculate a confidence interval on your own, you need to know: Most statistical programs will include the confidence interval of the estimate when you run a statistical test. However, the British people surveyed had a wide variation in the number of hours watched, while the Americans all watched similar amounts.Įven though both groups have the same point estimate (average number of hours watched), the British estimate will have a wider confidence interval than the American estimate because there is more variation in the data.ĭiscover proofreading & editing Calculating a confidence interval: what you need to know Example: Variation around an estimateYou survey 100 Brits and 100 Americans about their television-watching habits, and find that both groups watch an average of 35 hours of television per week. Confidence intervals are useful for communicating the variation around a point estimate. These are all point estimates, and don’t give any information about the variation around the number. Differences between population means or proportions. You can calculate confidence intervals for many kinds of statistical estimates, including: So if you use an alpha value of p < 0.05 for statistical significance, then your confidence level would be 1 − 0.05 = 0.95, or 95%. Your desired confidence level is usually one minus the alpha (α) value you used in your statistical test: For example, if you construct a confidence interval with a 95% confidence level, you are confident that 95 out of 100 times the estimate will fall between the upper and lower values specified by the confidence interval. This is the range of values you expect your estimate to fall between if you redo your test, within a certain level of confidence.Ĭonfidence, in statistics, is another way to describe probability. Frequently asked questions about confidence intervalsĪ confidence interval is the mean of your estimate plus and minus the variation in that estimate.Caution when using confidence intervals.Confidence interval for non-normally distributed data.Confidence interval for the mean of normally-distributed data. That nice bass explosion, however, can too easily fade into the background when other weapons are firing. Individual sound effects, taken in isolation, are excellent, like the delightful blast and ring of a shell exploding against a tank. In fact, perhaps the single biggest disappointment in Company of Heroes 3’s multiplayer mode is that its sound seems oddly muddled. Sure there are specific balance issues – the M18 Hellcat's too tough! Those flamethrowers are OP! – but show me an RTS without balance issues at launch and I'll show you a liar. I'll say that, as of a few days after launch, this is the most diverse, balanced, and stable multiplayer game in the entire Company of Heroes series to date. CoH3 nails all of that thanks to a wide variety of factions, snappy unit controls, and great multiplayer stability. That'll certainly be true for Company of Heroes 3, because while the single-player campaigns are trapped in a quagmire of a strategic map and bogged down in their storytelling, in multiplayer we can focus on what really matters: moment-to-moment gameplay, balance, and faction mechanics. For a lot of long-time fans, Company of Heroes is a real-time strategy series that’s more about competitive play than single-player campaigns, and we've logged hundreds more hours playing against other people than against the AI in scripted scenarios.
